I Love Math!

Here is your math homework assignment...

Mr. Baxter hates to go to the gym. As we all know he could use a few less pounds! Recently he has been forcing himself to go to the gym. He has attended the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday every week for the last 3 weeks. He spends half and hour at the gym each day he goes. How much time has Mr. Baxter spent at the gym in the last 3 weeks? Give your answer as a fraction, in minutes, and in hours.

  3. 3x3=9 30x9=270(divided by) 60= 4.5
    Mr.Baxter went to the gym for 270/60 minutes or 4and 1/2 hours.

    1/2x24=24/2=12 hours

    1/2x60=60/2 (12x21=504(divided by)2=252)as minutes

    1/2x21=21/2 as my fraction

    so 12+252=164+6=170/60

    170/60 /270 minutes/2 hours and 1/2

    9 days And each day he whent for a half an hour so you do 9x30=270..
    so he whent to the gym for 270/60 as a fraction, 270 min and 2 and ahalf hours.

  7. mr. baxter went to the gym for nine days and everyday he went he went for a half hour so you have to multiply 9 and 30, so 9 x 30 = 270, so he went to the gym for 270/60, (fration) soo 270 and 2 and 1 half hour!!!!

  8. 1 week= 1:30. or 90 mins. times 90 by 3 = 270
    270 over 60 or 270 mins, or 4 and a 1/2 hours.

    hours = 4 1/2
    minutes = 270
    270/60 (fraction)
